Tourist visa will be issued to applicants wishing to enter the Kingdom for tourism purposes. You are not allowed to work or conduct business with a tourist visa.

A tourist visa is valid for 60 days and can be extended 30 days at the nearest Immigration office.
Visa extension fee is 1,900 Baht

2. Two photos (colour, size 3.5 x 4.5 cm) Citizens of following countries are required to provide 3 phots and 3 copies of application form
* Citizens of Algeria, Bangladesh, China, Egypt, India, Iran, Iraq, North Korea, Lebanon, Libya, Nepal, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Syria and Yemen
Citizens of following countries are required to provide 4 photos and 4 copies of application form

Passport holders of Laos, Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan must apply in person.
Passport holders of Pakistan, Bangladesh, Syria, Iraq, Iran, Lebanon, Sudan, Algeria, Libya, Yemen, Egypt, Afghanistan, Nigeria and Palestinian State are requested to file for application at the Thai Embassy / Consulate-General where they have their permanent residence . Applicants without permanent residents are required to apply for Thai visa in your own country.

As the result of examination, they may ask you for a certificate of your no criminal record. As it often takes over one month to be issued, enough time shall be taken into consideration to apply for a visa.
Passport holders of North Korea are required additional documents as follow;

Consular officers reserve the rights to ask for additional documents as deemed necessary.

* Passport holders from Middle East & South Asia and Africa may be requrired for interviews, please apply for visa with enough time for departure.
In the absence of a required document, a letter indicating the unavailability of such document must be provided. The applicant must sign on each page of the copy.
 

Visa Processing Fees:-

Visa processing fee is $35 per entry.
If application is submitted in person, visa processing fees are payable in cash or money order made payable to “The Royal Thai Embassy”.

VALIDITY OF A STAY

Upon arrival, visitors with this type of visa will be permitted to stay in the Kingdom of Thailand for a period not exceeding 60 days at any time.

EXTENSION OF STAY

Those who wish to stay longer or may wish to change their status of visa must file an application for permission at the Office of Immigration Bureau located on Soi Suan Plu, off South Sathorn Road, Bangkok 10120 , Tel (662) 287-3101-10.
